As much as it sucks to not have a job right now I am almost thankful that I don’t have to go back to that shithole. I am getting paid off on the hours I have worked so far and also getting my vacation pay so money isn’t bad yet.
My husband is due to start his new job any day now and even though it’s part time work it will help out.
I have an interview set up for next Thursday for the job that I *really* want but I’m also going to apply for more jobs today - only jobs available at the moment seem like part time work and that blows. I haven’t worked part time in YEARS. Fuck, I haven’t not worked in years.
So, I’m drinking some tea right now. Then I’m going to go out for a walk. As shitty as I’ve felt lately my fitness routine has kind of gone off track. Going to try to get back into it today.
After my work out I’m going to come back home, shower, then go to the unemployment office to apply for benefits. Then my husband and I are going to go grocery shopping and I should probably pay some bills today as well.
After that we don’t have much planned. I suppose I’ll spend the evening applying for jobs and tumblring. I haven’t even been unemployed for 2 days yet and I’ve already noticed how boring this can be.
Perhaps we will build a fire tonight. Wish all you lovely tumblr peeps could join us! <3

that job i interviewed for in august? well, they emailed me today telling me that the “candidate profile has changed” and that they want me to re-interview next Thursday.
MY CURRENT JOB WILL BE OVER IN 2 WEEKS. NO MORE MONEY AFTER THAT. I HAVE FUCKING RENT TO PAY, FOOD TO BUY, ELECTRICITY/GAS BILL, ALL MY OTHER FUCKING BILLS IN MY GODAMN LIFE.

Another day, no car.
Luckily I was scheduled off today so I’m not missing work. But if my car doesn’t get fixed today I’m not sure what’s going to happen this weekend. My husband and I are both scheduled to work and to be honest, I’m not even sure if we’ve been terminated from the system yet.
I know that my bosses aren’t going to have very nice things to say to me, whether I bring the garage bill or not.
I applied for a few jobs yesterday and I’ll be applying for more today. Really wish I could get a job in this town because I am done commuting 60 miles (round trip) per day.
I’m drinking some coffee and then my husband and I are going to ride our bikes to the post office down the road and to the general store to stock up on some necessities.
Money is starting to get tight as rent will be due in a few days as well as a dumb speeding ticket that I got back in March that I’m *still* paying off. I just really hope I can keep my job/get to my job just so we have some money coming in. We are moving at the end of this month and I’m just really hoping we can hold our financial lives together.
