Picture on the left was taken for my badge for my new job (which seems very promising and fun so far yay!:) and pic on the right is my driver’s license photo - taken 3 years ago. I didn’t realize how much I have changed until today and I’m very pleased. :)
Fishtail braids! First mildly successful attempt. As you can see, it definitely needs work. Much easier than french braiding (I will NEVER learn how to do that…how the hell do people even do that on themselves?). I love the look of loose fishtails so I definitely want to practice and get better. :) The tension is too tight in these pics.

Put makeup on today for the first time in over a week. Also straightened my hair. It’s difficult to straighten and also quite dry so it doesn’t look very luscious…luckily the curls hide that. :)

Alright, so I’m a little bored on this lazy Sunday.
I haven’t done much of anything today. When I woke up I washed some dishes and swept the house. I’ve had a lot of coffee to drink. And I’ve been refreshing tumblr and watching youtube videos all day. Blaaahhhh!
But you know what world? I don’t have to be dolled up to be beautiful! Check me out in my lovely apron (that my husband bought for me when we were half a world away from each other), hair frizzy and bundled, in house lounging/cleaning mode.
This is me. Being lazy and bored. :)
Oh yes, and our dryer has been broken for a while now so my husband made a makeshift clothes line in our spare room - which is explains the random shit hanging behind my head.
WTF is there to do around here!!??! Guess I’ll do some laundry or something.

Me at 193/194ish lbs. Braided my hair today. Not really sure what I’m doing with my makeup, I just put some color on. Oh, and that’s a forced smile there, can you tell?
I’m feeling really blah today. :(
Clear skin again. It’s about freaking time. For me, eating junk isn’t as much about the calories as it is about how bad it will make my skin look. Grocery shopping tomorrow so no more excuses for peanut butter and crackers at random, unplanned times of the day.
